As part of the WinClient installation, you should have the component service installed.
This means you should now have icons in Word, Excel & Outlook. If you don’t then talk to your support people who can talk to their FileDirector support company or C2S if you have a support contract with us.
From within your Word document, click the Add ins menu and then click the FileDirector icon.
Now a popup box should appear. Index your document.
The document will now be in the local documents of WinClient – now you can check it in.
